Today, as the internet has grown rapidly, cyber crime is also growing rapidly.
Cyber crime is not only limited to bank account hacking, it has gone far ahead.
I am publishing this post to make you aware of the imotional and atractive cyber criminals.
I was also scammed by them.
But because of god's grace, I din't loose any money.
There are 2 types of internet criminals.
1:Imotional
2:lottories
Imotional.
You might have received, or may receive in near future mails from unknown people asking for help.
Example:
My father was killed in a civil war in Liberia, and he has left $ 5 million in a bank account.
I need a foreign partner to get the funds transfered in his/her account.
Thats why I am contacting you.
They also use words like sweetheart, honey, my beloved, darling etc.
example 2:
I am MRS Stella colins from France.
I am vidow to MR XYZ colins.
My husband was a very rich businessman.
He died shortly after our marage, hence we don't have a child.
I also have abc cancer, so I won't survive for long.
I have $ 5 million which I want to give to you.
So that you can use it for charity.
If you get this email, please ask her that why doesn't she donate the funds in her own country?
Lottories.
You might get emails like:
Kind attention MR PQR.
Batch no:---
Ref No:---
Sirial no:---
You have won so and so Pounds in the lottory drawing held on this date.
Your name was chosen by our software.
How can we winn a prise, when we haven't registered for any such thing?
You are requested to contact our clames officer immediately with following details:
1. Your full name.
2. Your address.
3. Your telephone number.
4. your age etc
When you provide these personal details, then they ask you to contact a fake courier company.
The shipping charges of that company are very high.
They also ask you for identification proof like your driving lisence and your passport.
Beware of these criminals!
Don't reply to any such rubbish.
